Linn Grant made history on Sunday with her dominant victory in the DP Tour Scandinavian Mixed.
The Swedish golfer dominated the field, shooting 24-under to win the tournament by nine strokes ahead of second-placed Henrik Stenson and Marc Warren.
In doing so, Grant was first female to win a European Tour event.
The Scandinavian Mixed was the second in a series of tournaments featuring 78 men and 78 women entrants playing the same course, albeit from different tees, for the same prize money and trophy. Just in case you think Grant had an advantage from the different tees, she finished 14 strokes ahead of the next best woman, Gabriella Cowley, who ended the tournament in a tie for 15th.

This is exactly why events like this matter.
Had begun to think it was just too hard to make the men/women balance work.
But this.. getting to show this skill level to the golf world, who wouldn’t have seen it otherwise. Linn Grant deserves that. The womens game deserves that👏🏼
