Kentucky football used to never beat Florida. In fact, it went 32 years in between wins from 1986-2018. But, lately, it has been all Wildcats. They’ve won 4 of the last 5 games in the series.
Mark Stoops has it rolling in Lexington. It showed this weekend against Florida when Kentucky came back from a nine-point deficit to win handily in the Swamp, 26-16. It has Kentucky up to #9 in the AP poll. Top ten rankings are usually reserved for the hoops team, so this is pretty cool. Naturally, they had to have a great dinner to celebrate.
To the victor goes the spoils for Kentucky
Anytime you have a win like that, you need a dinner fit for a king. Enter this main course.

Ah yes, the southern delicacy alligator. It actually tastes pretty good, and that one appears to be wrapped in bacon. Everyone knows gator is pretty lean!
Of course, Kentucky fans and the college football world had a field day with this.
As I said above, I think alligator is pretty tasty. This guy definitely disagrees.
Funny, but more gross.

At least that guy knew that people actually eat gator. This person had no clue.
This is a thing?

Even Pat McAfee, recently hired as a panelist on College Gameday, loved this story.

I hope that Kentucky makes this a tradition when they can. You just can’t do it against Vanderbilt.
